General Motors is responsible to deduct income tax from the remuneration or other income that you receive.  Form TD1 – Personal Tax Credits Return, both federal and provincial are used to determine the amount of income tax to deduct from the income you receive.

If the 2023 basic personal tax credit amount is correct for your tax calculation, no action is required.  If other than the basic amount is required for 2023 you must complete new TD1 forms (federal and/or provincial).  2023 TD1 forms are available on the Socrates website or on the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Quebec website.
