No one’s more excited about fall than kids lacing up their ice-skates for the first time. Hockey gives kids an opportunity to have fun and learn about teamwork and to gain a positive attitude and dedication to practice. However, as a parent, you may share your child’s excitement and still be a little anxious about his or her safety. That’s why the Chevrolet Hockey Helmet program is here.
It’s all in the teamwork
In keeping with our expertise in safety and innovation, we developed the Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey program, designed to help parents, minor league players and coaches develop a positive attitude towards healthy competition, co-operative teamwork and grace under pressure. Now, teaming up with great hockey legends Bobby Orr and Cassie Campbell-Pascal, the Chevrolet Hockey Helmet Program is teaching kids the importance of hockey safety by giving any five-year-old, who’s registered in a minor hockey league, a chance to get a free Bauer helmet.
Safety comes first – and it’s free
Last season, over 23,000 five-year-olds were registered with Hockey Canada. This season all players born in 2006 who register to play hockey with Hockey Canada can receive a free Bauer Hockey helmet from Chevrolet.* So if your child is stepping onto the ice for the first time this year, register him or her in The Chevrolet Hockey Helmet program, and there will be one less thing for you to worry about. You can sit back and cheer your child on as he or she learns all about hockey and scores that very first goal.
Don’t wait! Register your five year old for The Chevrolet Hockey Helmet Program, or
* Limit of one (1) BAUER 2100 HELMET COMBO-JR per child. Helmet offer valid for children born in 2006, registered with a Canadian Minor Hockey Association. Proof of age and minor hockey registration of child required. Offer available from August 1, 2011 to February 28, 2012.
