Three Canadian Organizations Worth Supporting on Earth Day

The Earth Day 2022 theme is “Invest in Our Planet” to secure a prosperous and sustainable future for generations to come.
A great way to get involved is to support local organizations that are protecting the environment in your area. If you don’t know where to start, consider one of these three Canadian organizations that are making a difference.

1 Friends of Second Marsh

Friends of Second Marsh is dedicated to encouraging the protection and appreciation of Second Marsh, which at over 400 hectares is the largest remaining wetland in the Greater Toronto Area, and other Great Lakes wetlands. The organization promotes a healthy environment through education, communication and developing partnerships and connections with the community.

GM Canada has proudly supported Friends of Second Marsh for more than 20 years.
