The General Motors St. Catharines Propulsion Plant proudly manufactures the Gen 5 V8 engine, and dual clutch transmission (DCT). Once our products are ready for distribution, they are shipped to GM assembly plants worldwide.

As we work toward our goal of building the world’s best engines and transmissions, we adhere closely to the values that represent who we are. While safety and quality are our fundamental commitments, our success also depends on our relationships inside and outside of our facility.

As a large corporation in the city of St. Catharines, we do our part to give back to those in need while simultaneously working to reduce the environmental impact of our vehicles and facilities. As leaders, we’re working to build the most valued automotive company right here in our community.

Great People. Great Products. Great Future.
