Introducing the newest member of BrightDrop’s electric vehicle family: the EV410!

In January 2021, GM Canada announced a C$1 billion investment to transform our CAMI Plant into Canada’s first commercial electric vehicle manufacturing plant to build BrightDrop EV600 vans. On Tuesday, September 28, BrightDrop announced a new model to be built at CAMI called the EV410, which is a more compact version of the EV600. Production will begin in 2023.

With more than 400 cubic feet of cargo area (11,327 liters) and a shorter wheelbase, the EV410 is small enough to fit in a standard parking space but has all the same safety features and estimated range as its bigger brother. This is important, as it brings the advantages of BrightDrop to a new range of customers beyond package delivery. In fact, BrightDrop also announced that Verizon will be the first customer for the EV410, who will use the van for their service fleet.
