Applications
Trailering Special Equipment Package
If you intend to use your Savana passenger van for towing, we recommend the available Trailering Special Equipment Package. This heavy-duty package includes a weight distributing platform trailer hitch receiver and a 7-lead wiring harness and connector with a heavy-duty flasher. An auxiliary transmission oil cooler is standard on 2500 and 3500 models.
Advice
Moving People and Their Cargo in Safety and Comfort
A Savana 3500 long wheelbase passenger van is the ideal vehicle to move a lot of people and their luggage to, or from, an airport, hotel, etc. Unlike 15-passenger vans that just add some body length on a standard chassis, the Savana 3500 has an extended 3937 mm (155 in.) wheelbase for improved weight distribution, providing a safer, more stable ride. 4-wheel disc brakes with a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and StabiliTrak™ standard electronic stability control system also contribute to your passengers' safety. A strong frame and front-end crush zones provide additional occupant protection if a collision is unavoidable.
If moving people to a ski lodge or other remote location is a concern, Savana solves the problem with All-Wheel Drive. Available on regular wheelbase 1500 models only.
