In fact, Orlando is only five centimetres longer than Chevrolet's compact sedan, the popular Cruze. What difference does that make? Another dimension is its confident handling, aided by standard driver control features, such as the StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control system, Traction Control, and four-wheel ABS.
Fuel Efficiency
All Orlando models feature a Driver Information Centre.
You do the math. Typically, vehicles that can seat seven aren't that great on fuel - bigger vehicles require more power and consume more fuel. Along comes Orlando to forever alter that equation. Its award-winning 2.4L ECOTEC® dual overhead cam 4-cylinder engine produces a substantial 174 hp. The engine is also tremendously fuel efficient, thanks to technologies like Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing (VVT), in addition to a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions (LT and LTZ only).

The available Vehicle Interface Package includes Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, a USB port and steering wheel-mounted audio system controls. All these features are standard on 2LT and LTZ models.

The first principle of Orlando's comprehensive approach to safety is accident avoidance, with standard driver control technologies like StabiliTrak® - as an electronic stability control system it has been proven to substantially reduce the rate of crashes. When a collision can't be avoided, Orlando protects the passenger compartment with six standard airbags and reinforced safety cage construction. After a collision, OnStar® Automatic Crash Response automatically alerts an OnStar® Advisor of critical details, such as the type and severity of the crash - and directs emergency responders to your exact location.
