Based on the 2009 European Car of the Year (Opel Insignia), the Regal combines German engineering with the new Buick design philosophy pioneered in Enclave and LaCrosse. It ushers in a new level of dynamic performance for Buick, with an aggressive yet fuel efficient 2.4L ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine and a 2.0L Turbocharged engine available later in the model year.
