ECOTEC Billet Crankshaft - 88958620
This full race billet 4130 steel crankshaft comes internally balanced and uses a 1.888 inch rod bearing and a stock main bearing size. The stroke is reduced to 3.505 inches for high RPM use. This will result in approximately 2.0 litres of displacement when used with a 3.400-inch bore.
ECOTEC High Performance CNC Ported Heads - 88958619
This aluminum cylinder head is fully machined, has high performance CNC ports, and three angle valve seats. It accepts a complete stock valvetrain. Flow Sheet included.
ECOTEC Intake Camshaft Blank - 88958611
Grind your own camshaft profile on these stock blanks. They are already heat treated and only require lobe grind and bearing surface polish.
ECOTEC Race Engine Block - 88958630
This aluminum block is fully machined and ready for assembly. This kit includes high quality 1/2-inch head studs and 7/16-inch main studs. The cylinders incorporate steel liners, machined for stainless steel o-rings and head gasket (P/N 88958614). This block has a 3.400 inch bore and 8.700 inch deck height. With the bedplate installed the block weighs approximately 69 lb.
ECOTEC Billet Connecting Rod Set - 88958618
This connecting rod set (consist of 4 connection rods) is designed for use with the racing piston (P/N 88958635) and billet crankshaft (P/N 88958620). These rods are billet machined from 4350 steel. Length is 5.888 inches. Rod bearing diameter is 1.888 inches. Floating piston pin diameter is .829 inches. For single service rod use P/N 88958649.
Aluminum Valve Cover - 10185064
This competition racing valve cover displays the name "Chevrolet" and the Chevrolet Bow Tie. It has no holes for PCV or oil fill, but has bosses for drilling oil holes or PVC. It is recommended for use on all pre-1986 V8 small-block Chevrolet engines.
NOTE: Two covers per package. For single cover order P/N 10185052. Can be used on 18° heads.
Intake Manifold - 10185063
This manifold is used on all ZZ series 350 HO engines and also can be used on all small-block Chevrolets thru 1986. This aluminum manifold produces the same horsepower as the previous high-rise design, but provides increased hood clearance and more versatility. It has a dual-pattern flange that can accommodate both standard-flange Holley and spread-bore Quadrajet four-barrel carburetors. This manifold has provisions for all late-model accessory brackets, EGR (exhaust gas recirculation), and an integral hot air choke. A heat shield can be mounted underneath the manifold to prevent choking when EGR is used.
Technical Note: This manifold carburetor flange is approximately 1/2-inch lower than the LT1 manifold.
Cast Iron Vortec Cylinder Head Assembly - 12558060
A favourite of many performance enthusiasts, this high performance cast iron small block cylinder head offers big power and bigger value. The Vortec cylinder head's fast burn combustion chamber and high velocity ports combine to produce big horsepower out of the box. The Vortec head can be mildly ported for additional performance and can be milled up to .040-inch for increased compression ratio. The Vortec head uses 1.94-inch intake valves and 1.50-inch exhaust valves to complement the high velocity port design. The Vortec head out-flows the Bow-tie head out of the box and is a 20 to 40 horsepower bolt on increase over earlier cast iron small block heads. The Vortec requires a Vortec style intake manifold due to its improved manifold mounting flange and gasket design and raised intake ports. It is not recommended that the heads be modified to accept early design intake manifolds. Manifolds available are P/N 12366573, 12496820, 1249621, 12496822. Vortec heads fit all small block engines produced 1955 to present, excluding LT1/LT4 reverse coolant flow engines and current LS1 style engines. Heads come completely assembled with valves, springs, retainers, and 3/8-inch rocker studs. Requires the use of self-aligning rocker arms.
Technical Note: The maximum camshaft lift is .475 inches. The valves seats in these heads can be machined to 2.02-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust. The rocker arm studs can be pinned or drilled and tapped 3/8-inch. (Casting P/N 10239906 or 12558062.)
5-inch GM Memory Tachometers - 10038474
This electronic tachometer will keep up with a fast-revving engine. The 5-inch diameter dial is marked to 10,000 rpm with easy-to-read white numerals. The GM emblem also appears on the tach face. An electronic memory recalls the highest engine speed recorded; the memory can be reset in an instant by pressing the button on the tach face. A base mounting bracket is included.
Technical Notes: This tachometer can be used with four, six, and eight cylinder engines. Use with GM Performance Parts electronic distributors and heavy-duty ignition P/N 10037378 or GM HEI distributors.
