Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Many new vehicles now come equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which automatically detects and alerts the driver when there is an increase or decrease in tire pressure. This system will need to be reset when tires are rotated. Speak to a Certified Service expert at your dealership for help.

Tire Alignment, Balancing and Rotation Services

If your vehicle is misaligned, it can cause your tires to wear unevenly and you may experience handling problems like "pulling" or abnormal vibration.

The team of service experts at your dealership can ensure you get the maximum wear and performance from your tires. And because your vehicle may also have unique specifications for front and rear-wheel alignment you can also rest assured you’re receiving the right alignment type for your vehicle.

If your tires are out of balance, you may feel a pounding or shaking though the steering wheel or your seat.

To avoid shortening the lifespan of your suspension components and tires and minimize excess fuel consumption, visit your dealership and speak to a Certified Service expert if you’re experiencing the warning signs listed above.

Tires should be rotated every 8,000 to 13,000 km (5,000 - 8,000 miles) to prevent irregular tire wear. For the average Canadian driver, this means having your tires rotated every 6 months.

If at any time you notice any unusual wear, your tires should be checked by a qualified service technician at your dealership. Because rear wheel and front wheel tires experience varying stresses, tire rotation service is important to ensure even wear and reduce the risk of sudden tire failure.

When it comes to maintaining, repairing or replacing your tires, the experts at your local dealership can help you find the right fit for your vehicle, driving habits and budget.

Replacing your Tire(s)

The lifespan of your tires depends on how they are used: average driving speed and weather, as well as the types of roads driven on. The Certified Service experts at your dealership are trained to find the right tires for your vehicle, which are suited to your driving profile. The best way to ensure you get the right tires for your vehicle is by scheduling an appointment.

Wheel (Rim) Replacement

Knowing when to change the entire wheel/rim is also a key element of keeping your tires and vehicle in good shape. The replacement wheel should have the same load-carrying capacity, diameter, width and offset, and be mounted the same way as the one it replaces. The trained tire service experts at your dealership know what kind of replacement wheel/rim you need and when you need it.
