GM Canada leads the way in fuel consumption ratings
January 27, 2009 — A recent release of Natural Resources Canada's EnerGuide Fuel Consumption Ratings confirms GM heads the pack. Chevrolet, Pontiac, Saturn and Saab together offer more than 25 models that hit the mark with highway fuel efficiency of 7 L/100 km.

Year End Sales confirm leadership position
January 5, 2009 — GM Canada delivered 358,902 vehicles in 2008. The Chevrolet Malibu, crowned 2008 North American Car of the Year, led the way with a 20.7% increase in December and finishing 78.5% ahead on the year. Other highlights include the Pontiac Vibe up 9.2% for December and the Buick Enclave increased 95.3% on the year. The small car segment also saw increased sales for both the Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5.
